I propose to take Questions Nos. 1333 and 1334 together.

I can advise the Deputy that the position referred to has been vacant since April 2022 following the retirement of the previous Master.

The Deputy Master of the High Court is performing the functions of the Master of the High Court since this time. Consideration is currently being given to the terms and conditions of the role, and it is intended that a recruitment competition will be run in due course to fill the vacancy.

Question No. 1334 answered with Question No. 1333.
