219. Deputy Malcolm Byrne asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to outline any plans to make Uisce Éireann more accountable to members of the Oireachtas considering the poor responses received from the dedicated email provided by the utility. [44655/26]
Amharc ar fhreagraI acknowledge that there are concerns around the effectiveness of the communication of Uisce Éireann with public representatives and I have spoken to the Chairperson of the Uisce Éireann Board about these concerns. Uisce Éireann is undertaking a formal review of elected representative engagement with input from across its entire business, which is due to be concluded in the coming weeks.
