Deputy Carol Nolan asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade the estimated cost to date of the drafting of the Israeli Settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (Prohibition of Importation of Goods) Bill 2026, including drafting fees, legal advice, consultancy fees, the costs of consultations of any kind and to itemise all costs by category. Amharc ar fhreagraIn respect of the Israeli Settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (Prohibition of Importation of Goods) Bill 2026, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has not paid any fees for drafting, legal advice, consultancy fees, or consultations of any kind. Legal advisory and drafting services in respect of the Bill have been provided by the Office of the Attorney General and the Office of the Parliamentary Counsel, respectively.
