Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade further to Parliamentary Question No. 208 of 9 June 2026, notwithstanding her Department’s support for sanctions against individual settlers, NGOs and others directly involved in illegal colonisation of the West Bank discussed therein, specifically whether the Irish Government supports sanctions against Israel akin to those against Russia (details supplied); if this is not the case, to state clearly that this is not the intention of the sanctions against Israel supported by the Government; and to clarify exactly the purpose of the proposed and actual sanctions against Israel supported by the Government.
