625. Deputy Carol Nolan asked the Minister for Social Protection the number of persons in receipt of jobseeker's allowance or jobseeker's benefit; and the breakdown by nationality indicating the number of Irish citizens, UK nationals, EU/EEA nationals, and the rest of the world. [45515/26]

My Department regularly publishes data on recipients of Jobseekers Allowance, Jobseekers Benefit, and Jobseekers Pay Related Benefit including breakdowns by nationality. This data by nationality is available in open-data format, accessible through gov.ie/dsp/statistics and through the CSO's data portal (table DPS03).

The statistics requested by the Deputy are provided in the table below.  Figures refer to the total number of individuals who received at least one payment in the first quarter of 2026.
