635. Deputy Paul Lawless asked the Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration the amount paid out under the accommodation recognition payment in each year since its establishment, in tabular form. [45765/26]

The Accommodation Recognition Payment (ARP) is a monthly payment of €600 available to those providing accommodation to a person or people who arrived in Ireland under the EU Temporary Protection Directive.

Since the scheme launched in July 2022 to 7 June 2026, approx. €481m has been paid to some 29,000 unique recipients in respect of hosting over 66,000 temporary protection beneficiaries. The scheme currently costs approximately €14m per month and has slightly declined since the start of 2026.

The table below provides the total expenditure on the ARP scheme for each year to date since the scheme’s introduction.
