185. Deputy Paula Butterly asked the Minister for Transport if he will consider providing for driver licence renewal services at the National Driver Licence Service (NDLS) test centre in Dundalk, County Louth, in order to improve accessibility for constituents in the surrounding area; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Under the Road Safety Authority Act 2006, the Road Safety Authority (RSA) has statutory responsibility for the National Driver Licence Service. This includes all service and operational matters.

I have therefore referred the Deputy's question to the RSA for direct reply. I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response has not been received within ten days.
