I am advised by Revenue that the total amounts of profits subject to non-trading corporation tax from 2018 to 2023 can be found on the Revenue website at: https://www.revenue.ie/en/corporate/information-about-revenue/statistics/corporation-tax/summary/index.aspx Data in relation to 2024 will be added in due course at this location. However, 2024 can also be viewed in the annual statistical report on Corporation Tax, the latest version of which is available at: https://www.revenue.ie/en/corporate/information-about-revenue/statistics/corporation-tax/research-reports/index.aspx

I am further advised by Revenue that the table below provides the non-trading income and the amount of gross tax levied at 25% (i.e. non-trading income multiplied by 25%) for 2018 to 2024. However, companies can use net credits, deductions, and reliefs against their profits to reduce taxable income or CT payable. As such, it is not possible with the available statistical data to determine the net tax levied on non-trading income or an effective tax rate on non-trading income.
