Deputy Michael Cahill asked the Minister for Children, Disability and Equality if she will provide an update on the current status of adult day service placements available for young adults with severe autism and intellectual disabilities, specifically in relation to the case of a person (details supplied) who is due to leave school at the end of June 2026; the measures being taken to ensure timely and appropriate support services for the individual and others in similar situations, including respite, outreach services, and transport provisions; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
