The total landholding by the Department of Education and Youth is attached, broken down by county to county.

There are currently 7 vacant properties, each of which is earmarked for future projects.

In relation to the landholding by my department and the portion zoned for development, the departments preference is always to get land zoned with a community infrastructure zoning, but this is not always the case, schools can be developed from a myriad of zoning types. Any site that my department has purchased is for the purpose of adding school facilities to it and we would only have purchased it provided it had the necessary zoning permissions to develop it.
