Ken O'Flynn
Ceist:512. Deputy Ken O'Flynn asked the Minister for Health further to the confirmation that no clinical-outcome or patient-safety audit has been conducted since 2020 in respect of procedures funded under the treatment abroad scheme, how the HSE assures itself that publicly funded procedures undertaken abroad are clinically appropriate and safe in the absence of any outcome audit; whether the Comptroller and Auditor General has been requested to examine value-for-money in this area; and whether any post-operative complication, readmission or follow-up data in respect of such procedures is held centrally.
