Deputy Donna McGettigan asked the Minister for Transport if he is aware of media reports of extreme discomfort for passengers during recent hot weather; the steps he will take to address this; the reason the reasons for delays and expected departure times are not announced by the drivers on delayed trains; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
