Amharc ar fhreagraWhere an individual identifies a case of a potential breach of these contractual obligations by a Partner Service, they may seek to have this examined and a conclusion reached through the Core Funding Fee Review Process.
The local City/County Childcare Committee (CCC) can escalate it to the Department’s National Fee Review Team (NFRT). The NFRT is composed of members of Sligo and Donegal County Childcare Committees as well as members of the Department of Children, Disability and Equality’s Sector Development Unit within the Early Years Division.
The primary purpose of the NFRT is to collate information on Fee Review cases at a national level (Stage 1). Once the information has been collated, it will be reviewed in full by a separate function within DCDE (Stage 2). This function will decide on whether a breach of Core Funding Fee Rules has occurred.
