Deputy Ken O'Flynn asked the Minister for Health if the €11.62 million direct pay surplus recorded in primary care within CHO 4 in 2024 reflects unfilled permanent posts; the primary care vacancy rate in CHO 4 for 2024; if her Department will confirm whether there is any assessed correlation between unfilled primary care posts and the agency and overtime deficits recorded in mental health and older persons within the same CHO in the same year; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
