429. Deputy Ryan O'Meara asked the Minister for Transport for an update on Iarnród Éireann’s efforts to automate crossings across their rail network, particularly along the line servicing Nenagh town; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [61787/26]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs Minister of Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding of public transport. The operation, maintenance and renewal of the rail network and stations on the network, including the automation of level crossings on the rail network, is a matter for Iarnród Éireann in the first instance.
