Ceisteanna (136)

Cathal Crowe

Ceist:

136. Deputy Cathal Crowe asked the Minister for Climate, Energy and the Environment if he will detail in tabular format on a county by county basis the number of businesses in each county that have received solar PV grants since 2022. [65697/26]

Amharc ar fhreagra

Freagraí scríofa

The primary scheme to support solar PV in the non-domestic sector is the Non-Domestic Microgeneration Scheme, administered by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland on behalf of my Department as part of an overall suite of business energy supports.

The scheme has been very successful in allowing businesses a rapid approval approach to reducing electricity costs and emissions.

A yearly breakdown by county as requested is set out in the table attached.
