Amharc ar fhreagraThe Garda Commissioner is responsible for the management and administration of An Garda Síochána under section 33 of the Policing, Security and Community Safety Act 2024, which includes the seizures of firearms, prohibited weapons and ammunition.
Figures related to the number of firearms, prohibited weapons and ammunition seized by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau over the last ten years are available publicly in their Annual Reports which are published at the following link:
