333. Deputy Naoise Ó Muirí asked the Minister for Education and Youth for an update on an application for additional accommodation (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [67802/26]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe school referred to was approved to enter my Department's pipeline of school building projects under the Additional School Accommodation Scheme for the provision of one additional mainstream classroom. The project is devolved for delivery to the school authority.
The Stage 1/2a Report has been received and reviewed by my Department from both technical and cost perspectives. Following this review, comments issued to the school authority for consideration in a revised submission.
My Department is currently awaiting the revised Stage 1/2a Report, after which it will be reviewed and the project's next steps considered.
