Deputy Sorca Clarke asked the Minister for Health the number of persons currently awaiting assessment for approval and implantation of deep brain stimulation therapy; the average waiting times at each stage of the pathway; the number of DBS procedures carried out in each of the years of 2024 to 2025 and to date in 2026, in tabular form; and the steps being taken to reduce waiting times.
