Deputy Ken O'Flynn asked the Minister for Health further to the HSE internal audit of non-EU doctor recruitment, the number of cases in which overseas police clearance was missing, had expired, or did not meet the required standard; the number of cases in which alternative documentation was accepted in place of police clearance; who authorised the acceptance of that alternative documentation; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
