Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department is currently preparing for the next round of the Community Sport Facilities Fund (CSFF), which I expect to open soon. A new online grant management system for CSFF, SPRAOI, went live on Monday 28 September for registrations. Any clubs or organisations that are not already registered with the Department may do so from that date.
The Department has collated extensive feedback from sporting clubs and organisations as an input to the key changes in the new 2026 round. The terms and conditions for the next CSFF round, and the timing of the application window, can be found on the Department's website. Regional Tier 2 Grant funding is only available to Local authorities and NGBs.
A wide reaching information campaign will be undertaken to assist clubs in any queries that have in relation to the application. The 2026 round will prioritise areas and sports that have been under-invested in over the years.
