Publication is required where the amendment falls within the modification regimes that require a modification notice falling within Article 72(1)(b) or (c)
Contracting authorities having modified a contract in the cases set out under points (b) and (c) shall publish a notice to that effect in the OJEU. Such notice shall contain the information set out in Annex V part G of 2014/24/EU and shall be published in accordance with Article 51.
Information on delays and cost increases may also become public through broader public expenditure governance, audit and reporting arrangements. Public procurement practices are subject to audit and scrutiny under the Comptroller and Auditor General (Amendment) Act 1993, and the Local Government Reform Act 2014.
