There are three bodies under the aegis of my Department; the Army Pensions Board, the Ombudsman for the Defence Forces and the External Oversight Body of the Defence Forces (EOB), which was placed on a statutory basis on 1 December 2024.
As with all Departments, the organisational details for my Department from Principal Officer upwards are publicly available on the Government website; [whodoeswhat.gov.ie.] This includes the role of each individual. Any queries from members of the Oireachtas can be sent to [minister@defence.ie]. The contact details for each of the bodies under the aegis of my Department are listed below in the following table;
