In general my Department utilises the services of the Office of the Attorney General, the Chief State Solicitors Office and the Office of Parliamentary Council with regard to legal advice and services. On limited occasions the Department may need specialist external advice or other such services. Details of legal fees paid by my Department for such services, for the years in question, are set out below. Figures are inclusive of VAT where applicable. I would note the 2025 Appropriation Account will be published in September 2026 and any financial information relating to 2025 remains provisional until then.
