The person named submitted an application under the Agri-Climate Rural Environment Scheme (ACRES) General approach and was approved into Tranche 1 of the scheme, with a commencement date of 1st January 2023.

I have made further enquiries into the matter and Departmental records indicate that the herdowner did not submit a valid 2023 Rare Breeds claim. A letter issued to the herdowner on 16th June 2025 outlining that the Rare Breeds action was terminated.

As per this letter, the herdowner may submit a request for a review. However, in addition to the reasons supporting their review request, they should also advise why the request for review was not submitted within the deadline outlined in the letter.
