1270. Deputy Barry Ward asked the Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht the position regarding any direct lobbying he has received from any NGO in relation to his annual funding; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11866/26]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs the Deputy will be aware, the Regulation of Lobbying Act 2015, provides for the establishment and maintenance of a publicly accessible register of lobbying. Responsibility for the implementation of the Lobbying Act 2015, including implementation of the register, rests with the Standards Commission. It is the responsibility of those engaged in lobbying activities, including any relevant non-governmental organisations, to make returns to the Standards Commission.
