277. Deputy Seán Ó Fearghaíl asked the Minister for Defence the progress that has been made towards implementing the Programme for Government's commitment to introduce a new management system for the Curragh Plains; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [15059/26]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs called for in the Programme for Government, I intend to implement the recommendations of the Conservation Plan for the Curragh, particularly in relation to transferring the Plains to the agency that is best suited to managing this historic landscape. To this end, my officials have been engaged with the National Parks and Wildlife Service to transfer the Curragh to the management of that agency.
