625. Deputy Aidan Farrelly asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage the total number of homes purchased in Ireland by investment funds, by area and house size, across 2023, 2024, 2025 and to date in 2026, in tabular form. [14473/26]

The Central Statistics Office publishes data in respect of residential property transactions by non-households, including international investment funds. This is available online and can be accessed on the CSO website (data.cso.ie/table/HPA10).
The data is broken down by NACE classification of the purchasers, i.e. construction, real estate, financial and insurance, public/education/health. Though not broken down further, the finance and insurance classification includes banks, trusts, pension and insurance funds, and holding companies.
