Deputy Cathal Crowe asked the Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment to give an update on the root causes analysis review under Delivering Homes, Building Communities of the NSAI certification process; the timeframe for its completion plans; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraUnder the National Housing plan 'Delivering Homes, Building Communities', my Department has committed to undertaking a root cause analysis to identify constraints on the Agrément certification process (Action 3.3).
The Terms of Reference for the project have now been finalised and my Department is working with the Office of Government Procurement (OGP) to finalise the Supplementary Request For Tender (SRFT) documentation. It is intended that my Department will procure an external consultant through an OGP Assisted Mini-Competition to conduct the Review. It is expected that the external consultant will be contracted and begin work in Q2 2026.
