817. Deputy Ken O'Flynn asked the Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration for a breakdown of the animal cruelty incidents recorded from Quarter 3 of 2024 to Quarter 4 of 2025 under the ‘Cruelty/Neglect’ incident type on PULSE, by county, and Garda division. [29821/26]
Amharc ar fhreagraUnder Section 33 of the Policing, Security and Community Safety Act 2024, the Garda Commissioner is responsible for the management and administration of An Garda Síochána, including Garda information management systems. The Commissioner is independent in the performance of his functions under Section 34 of the Act.
I have been informed by the Garda authorities that the table below shows a breakdown by Garda Region of the 116 incidents of Animal ‘Cruelty/Neglect’ reported during 2025.
