446. Deputy Claire Kerrane asked the Minister for Children, Disability and Equality the estimated full year cost of increasing the foster care allowance by €1. [46689/26]
Amharc ar fhreagraFoster carers play a vital role in enabling our most vulnerable children to live in a safe, secure and stable home environment. The foster care allowance was last increased at the end of 2024, meaning that foster carers now receive between €20,800 and €22,100 per year for each child in their care, depending on the age of the child.
