483. Deputy Pádraig Rice asked the Minister for Health further to Parliamentary Question No. 96 of 5 March 2026, the current status of the model of care for sexual health; if she still expects it to be completed in Q4 2026; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [46529/26]
Amharc ar fhreagraSexual health is a priority for the Department of Health. The National Sexual Health Strategy, 2025-2035 (NSHS) and National Sexual Health Action Plan, 2025-2038 (NSHAP), commit to developing a Model of Care for sexual health.

The Model of Care for Sexual Health is being developed by the HSE Sexual Health Programme. It is our understanding that it will be published at some point in Q3-4, 2026
However, as the HSE will have more detail and as this is a service matter, I have asked the HSE to respond directly to the Deputy, as soon as possible.
