794. Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Health in light of the removal of the mandatory three-day waiting period, and reports that girls as young as 14 and 15 are presenting for services; the safeguarding measures that are in place to assess how these minors became pregnant [47483/26]

The Children First Act 2015 and Children First National Guidance place specific obligations on organisations that provide relevant services to children and young people to keep children safe from harm, insofar as is possible and places a legal obligation on a range of relevant professionals to report child protection concerns at or above a defined threshold to Tusla.
